Busy weekend

I have so many things to do this weekend that I have a hard time concentrating enough to start any of them. Putting together a portfolio, patching a Power Point Presentation for my TEAMS fellows, spending time with my husband, not counting Mother's Day events - it is packed with things that need to be done, and cannot be postponed.

I will see how it goes.

Being an elementary teacher, I have to say that my students have passed their dinosaur fever to me. I love everything about them!

Wake up call for America - Teachers need second jobs also!

Being a teacher, I have to agree. When I was a waitress, I earned a lot more than now, and still I continue to strive to be a great teacher and to touch as many lives I can with a little bit of knowledge, or at least, with a little bit of incentive to make that child leap higher and pursue her dreams as a student. I want my students to succeed and love school and knowledge so they make the future a better place for all.
